Project Overview: As a freelance filmmaker, I was commissioned to produce a series of promotional videos for ShesFit.Tv, a platform dedicated to empowering women to stay fit while managing family life. The challenge was to capture the essence of this empowerment across diverse demographics, showcasing real-life stories of women who juggle fitness with motherhood, career, and personal growth. My approach was to create a series of short, inspirational documentaries featuring various women from different backgrounds, filmed in their natural environments - homes, gyms, and community centers. These stories highlighted their daily struggles, triumphs, and the unique ways they integrated fitness into their busy lives, all while promoting the inclusivity and community spirit of ShesFit.Tv.
Outcome and Impact: The video series not only resonated with the existing audience of ShesFit.Tv but also significantly expanded its reach. Post-launch analytics showed a 50% increase in website traffic, with a particular spike in new subscriptions and other interested women to connect and tell their story. Feedback from the community was overwhelmingly positive, with many viewers expressing that seeing women like themselves on screen inspired them to join and actively participate in the platform's offerings. The authenticity and emotional depth of the storytelling, with comments like, "These videos show real life, and they make you feel like you're not alone in this journey." This project underscored my ability as a filmmaker to craft narratives that not only entertain but also connect deeply with viewers, fostering a sense of belonging and motivation within the ShesFit.tv community.

Keep A Breast "Wellness" event located in Carlsbad, CA is bringing more awareness during this month of Breast Cancer Awareness. I had the honor of speaking with Shaney Jo, owner and founder of Keep A Breast Foundation to discuss how awareness of your body is so important in prevention of breast cancer along with any other illnesses. During this event speakers from Gather Encinitas came forward to present on a panel touching on all the important thoughts we should all have concerning our exercise, food, spirituality and mental health. Self care is so important to living a longer and healthier life. There was great food, an awesome DJ and of course the beautiful art from the castings women have with this foundation. These art pieces are all molded around different people and then painted to present beauty on so many levels. There was beer from Saint Archer Brewing Company (Encinitas, CA) and wine from Carruth Cellars - Carlsbad Check out these following leaders in yoga, health and spirituality to find out more about breathing, finding what fires you up and living every day with great purpose. Lauren Duke Katie Brauer o everyone at this event for enlightening us on how Yoga is so great for you and is one step among many to making people better versions of themselves.
Shesfit.tv chats with Olympian weight lifting champion Ren Allen to find out more about how she got into fitness and how she is inspiring others. This gym is a great option to squeeze fitness in to busy schedules. Many moms have turned to Fit Life by Ren to get fit and also know they are welcome to bring their kids.
Ren and her other trainers focus on motivating women and men to live strong, to be healthy, all while inspiring our future while maintaining a balanced and fit life.
In 2005 Tammy discovered she wanted more for her family and being a single mom wasn't easy. She took a chance and started her own business with FitChick Granola. Since then her brand has spread through several stores throughout the nation including Jimbo's and Gelson's. Today she has found great success not only in her business but in her personal life which has revealed to her the growth that life has given her. Through her journey she has helped many women and men become more fit, healthy and fight off health issues. It was a great pleasure to meet with Tammy in her home and hear her story.
