Project: The Artlist & Artgrid Global Edit Challenge

Challenge: The 2021 Artlist & Artgrid Edit Challenge was a global competition that tasked creators with crafting a short film using only assets from their extensive libraries. The challenge was to create a compelling, original narrative that would stand out to industry-leading judges from a pool of over 1,600 international submissions.

Solution: I chose to compete in the "Fictional Movie Trailer" category. My entry was a 1:30-minute sci-fi trailer, for which I developed the concept and handled all post-production. I carefully searched the Artgrid library for dramatic footage and paired it with a haunting Artlist music track. My main focus was on technical execution, using seamless editing, immersive sound design, and subtle visual effects to build tension and create a futuristic atmosphere.

Outcome: This project was a fantastic opportunity to test my storytelling skills against a worldwide community of creators. It pushed me to refine my editing techniques and experiment with narrative structure in a competitive setting, further strengthening my passion for producing high-impact video content. The final piece stands as a testament to my ability to build a compelling world from a library of assets.
