My Role: Point-of-Sale (POS) Design, Marketing Collateral, Art Direction
Client: PT's Taverns (Golden Entertainment)
Project: Las Vegas Happy Hour Campaign Signage
The Challenge In the visually saturated environment of a Las Vegas casino, the challenge was to create happy hour signage for PT's Taverns that could cut through the noise, capture the attention of fast-moving patrons, and drive immediate foot traffic.
The Solution I was tasked with designing a series of vibrant point-of-sale materials, including bar table tents and promotional signage, for their casino locations. My approach was to use a strategic combination of bold, high-contrast colors, sleek typography, and enticing imagery of their signature drink specials. The design was crafted to be highly legible and visually impactful, even from a distance on a crowded casino floor.
The Results The final signage successfully stood out in the bustling Vegas scene, effectively communicating the happy hour promotions and helping to drive traffic to PT's Taverns during key promotional hours. This project showcases my ability to create powerful, direct-response marketing collateral for the highly competitive hospitality industry.
A remarkable design’s actual value resides in its final execution. My expertise extends beyond the digital domain, encompassing comprehensive technical knowledge across a wide array of media. I possess practical experience in managing the entire production lifecycle—from prepress and proofing through to the final press check—for various products, including high-volume consumer packaging such as aluminum cans and multi-packs, large-format outdoor signage, high-end magazine advertisements, and specialty materials such as static clings. I take pride in serving as the intermediary between creative vision and production reality, ensuring each physical product is a flawless, impactful representation of the brand.
